EnduraData file sync and replication used to synchronize multiple Social Security Administrations (SSA) web farms
EDEN PRAIRIE, MINNESOTA, UNITED STATES, October 12, 2022
The Social Security Administration, one of the largest US government agencies, has chosen EnduraData’s EDpCloud Linux file replication and synchronization software to replace Attunity/Repliweb data replication software.
EnduraData file sync and replication software will replicate files for SSA’s public websites. EnduraData’s EDpCloud replication software will replicate SSA’s data for its field offices and Medicare and Railroad Retirement Board (RRB). The web farms for policynet.ba.ssa.gov, ssa.gov, and eis.ba.ssa.gov will all be synchronized by EnduraData’s software.
SSA evaluated solutions from nine companies
Out of nine software competitors, EnduraData was selected because of the following reasons:
- SSA’s staff extensively tested the software for many months and recommended it and the best solution for SSA
- External industry experts evaluated the software recommended EnduraData
- EnduraData provided all features needed by SSA and met all evaluation criteria.
EnduraData supports multiple sources and multiple destinations of replication
EnduraData’s replication solutions allow users to replicate files between systems, and networks, in the same location, or between different geographic locations. Once the initial synchronization is performed, the file changes and deltas are synced in the background. Data is encrypted in transit and can also be encrypted at rest using OpenSSL. EnduraData also supports the use of SSL certificates.
