A new Minnesota email backup and retention policy: delete it all

A new report by  Curtis Gilbert from Minnesota Public Radio Indicated that the cities and counties around the state of Minnesota and opting for a policy of deleting emails “to speed up the search and make data management more efficient”. See for your self.

This is is a lousy argument. This will not only lead to trust and credibility  issues, but it will hunt the various state governments in the future and we are not talking about lawsuits yet.
